Cookie Policy
Effective date: [EDIT: go-live date] · Version: 1
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies OHCjob.com (operated by CapriTech Global Services LLC, USA) uses, why, and how you control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage, pixels (tiny images or scripts that let an advertising platform know you visited a page) and SDK tags. We use the word "cookies" for all of them below.
2. How consent works on OHCjob.com
- On your first visit a banner asks you to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies separately. Nothing except strictly necessary cookies runs until you choose.
- Your choice is stored in a cookie (
ohc_cookie_consent) for 12 months and, if you are logged in, in your consent ledger. - You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: when it is present we treat advertising cookies as declined and do not "sell or share" your data (see Do Not Sell or Share).
- Declining cookies never blocks you from using the site.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ohc_access |
Keeps you signed in (short-lived access token, httpOnly, secure) | 15 minutes |
ohc_refresh |
Renews your session silently (rotating refresh token, httpOnly, secure) | 30 days |
ohc_cookie_consent |
Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months |
ohc_locale, ohc_cc |
Remembers your language and country selection | 12 months |
ohc_csrf |
Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Session |
| Rate-limit / bot-protection identifiers | Protects sign-up, OTP and apply against abuse | Up to 1 hour |
| Local storage (PWA) | Offline shell for saved jobs and the profile wizard on slow networks | Until cleared |
These cannot be switched off because the service does not work without them.
3.2 Analytics (only after you accept)
| Provider | Cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) | _ga, _ga_* |
Counts visits, pages viewed, search terms and conversions in aggregate so we can improve the site | Up to 2 years |
IP addresses are truncated and we do not send names, emails or phone numbers to Google Analytics. Google's own policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
3.3 Advertising (only after you accept — and only shown to users who also gave marketing consent C3)
| Provider | Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads (Google LLC) | _gcl_*, conversion tag |
Measure and target OHCjob.com ads on Google | Up to 90 days |
| Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) | _fbp, _fbc |
Measure and target OHCjob.com ads on Facebook and Instagram | Up to 90 days |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corp.) | li_*, bcookie |
Measure and target OHCjob.com ads on LinkedIn | Up to 180 days |
The pixel scripts are not loaded at all until you accept advertising cookies. Even when accepted, we never pass your name, licence number, CV or health information to advertising platforms; we send hashed identifiers only for users who gave consent C3 and they are removed when C3 is withdrawn.
3.4 Third-party content
Embedded content you choose to open (for example a LinkedIn share dialog, a video in a career guide article, a WhatsApp share link) may set that provider's cookies under its own policy. Share buttons on OHCjob.com are plain links and set no cookies until you click them.
4. Cookies in emails
Marketing emails (C3 only) may contain an open-tracking pixel and tracked links so we can measure campaigns. Transactional emails (OTP, application updates, security notices) contain no tracking pixel.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Samsung Internet). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop login and applications from working. Mobile operating systems also let you limit ad tracking (iOS "Allow Apps to Request to Track", Android "Delete advertising ID").
6. Changes
We update this list when we add or remove a tool; the version and effective date change accordingly. Material changes are announced through the cookie banner.
